For the 1st recipe in this DIY Christmas Craft series, let's try an easy one. A Festive, vintage inspired Scented Body Oil! <\/strong>Perfect for just out of the bath or shower & bringing a touch of luxury! This type of scent would possibly be worn by the movie stars of the 1940s & 50s, think Greta Garbo & Marlon Brando era.<\/p>

Benzoin Essential Oil, while not a main feature in this recipe, adds a sweeter warmth with it's chocolate like aroma. It also acts as a fixant for the scent, making it last longer. Benzoin is often used as a scent fixative in the perfume industry.<\/p>

The warming Ginger appeals to both men & women, giving a warm, soothing quality. Perfect for Winter months! Ginger also helps to boost Collagen production which provides elasticity to our skin. Interesting fact: in food, it is useful for boosting circulation.<\/p>

Jojoba Oil 49ml \/ Rosehip Oil 24.5ml \/ Argan Oil 24.5ml\/ Tocopherol (Vitamin E) 1ml \/ Ginger Essential Oil 0.5ml \/ Rose-Geranium Essential Oil 0.25ml \/ Benzoin Essential Oil 0.25ml.<\/p>

EQUIPMENT: Scales (cheap jewellery scales are best for weighing small amounts eg Essential Oils), Stirring utensil, small light container (for weighing Oils), medium main mixing bowl , final gift containers eg 100ml spray bottle (to decant mixture into, as gifts), labels.<\/p>

METHOD:<\/p>

1\/ Weigh out the ingredients<\/p>

2\/ Pour each ingredient into main mixing container one by one & mix together slowly & gently.<\/p>

3\/ Decant into final gift containers.<\/p>

4\/ Write name of product on label, with date it is made & write another label with ingredients used, placing it on back of your container.<\/p>

5\/ Stick labels on containers. *ENSURE containers are properly & tightly sealed to avoid spillage!<\/p>
